Objective: To improve understanding of how decarbonisation options can impact (all) people and communities, and how to include these impacts in research by CLEETS. The Fall School will run as a Global Classroom, in-person at Birmingham, Cardiff, Chicago and Urbana-Champaign IL, all connected via Teams. It is targeted at post-graduate, post-doctorate and early career researchers, but will be of interest to others, who are welcome to join.

  • Certificate on completion of Fall School
  • Access to seminars and workshops year round

The CLEETS Fall School introduces students to how different policies and interventions in transport decarbonisation can influence outcomes for people and communities.

The Fall School examines real-world examples of policy design and implementation, highlighting how these choices shape community well-being. It aims to provide students with both insights and the “missing pieces” often needed when considering an undergraduate or graduate research project with the CLEETS team.

Through this School, students are better positioned to contribute to an action-focused, global dialogue on sustainable and equitable transport.
